Mistakes are just mistakes. If we learn from them, they become knowledge.
My problem was that I kept repeating the same mistakes every day and ignoring the results. That way I could justify not making changes.
My declining health and wellness were the result, whether I acknowledged it or not.
The weight loss industry is obsessed with feeding us more junk food dressed up as quick fixes for all our health and wellness woes.
It wasn’t until I came to the realization that I had to make changes to my core lifestyle, that everything fell into place, and I quickly reached my health and wellness goals.
My mistakes converted into knowledge, are what make up the Welln.es Learning Community content; The step-by-step PLAN to reinvent your health and wellness.
Here are 5 mistakes people (including me, pre-2013) make and how you can transform them into tools to power your reinvented health and wellness.
Mistake #1: Going on a fad diet or cutting out the food you love.
We are all creatures of habit, and we like what we like. Going on a diet that forces you to eat somebody else’s food choices is going mess with your head, and you will fail. Stop stressing and instead make small changes to the food you love so that it supports your weight loss and happiness.
Mistake #2: Eating a monstrosity of salad and thinking it’s low-cal.
Salads taste great and can be a healthy part of your diet. Like everything, salads can be instruments of evil, too. Eating a salad with three types of cheese, four styles of croutons, loads of bacon, fried chicken and drenched in a cheesy cream dressing, is pure evil. Don’t eat it!
